Through disciplined education and guidance on paths to success, I realized my knowledge at EM GURUKUL.

As a post graduate student it was not easy to embrace a fairly new discipline.

I was confused and I was made to believe that Emergency Medicine is a Degree for Medical Emergencies. I was unclear whether it was Critical Care. I was a PG Student and I faced knowledge conflicts and clinical process conflicts every day. I needed guidance. I had only had 3 years to learn.

GURUKUL made that happen.

The Multi-Focal Training Model of Reading, Listening, Watching and Testing coupled with 24/7 Access to mentors made me a confident EM Specialist today.

Getting a Degree is Good But getting it with Complete and Correct Knowledge is superior.

EM Is new to India as an Academic Specialty. Not everyone knows everything about the framework of EM Training for PG Students. Conflicts like EM is Medical Emergencies and EM is Critical Care will start as foci of confusion and pass on from generation to generation , go from center to center and soon we will have an incomplete version of displaced competence.

Residents have to use their 3 years carefully and therefore I strongly recommend and sincerely hope that all residents both from DNB and MD Programs join GURUKUL.

I did it and I consider myself lucky and well trained. It is a sense of completeness.

One should Learn to get a Degree NOT Get a Degree to Learn !!

EM Gurukul has been a wonderful journey.

I am from the first batch of DNB Students at Sree Gokulam Medical College, Kerala. I came to GURUKUL thanks to my teacher Dr. Linu Shekhar.

I was lucky to have been mentored by the excellent teachers at EM GURUKUL.

Dr. Sagar Galwankar mentored us and the GURUKUL training model helped build up our basics and get our EM Knowledge up to the level expected from a specialist who graduates with a post graduate degree.

I am proud of being a GURUKUL GRADUATE and strongly recommend it to every PG Resident in Emergency Medicine be it MD or the DNB PG Program in India.
